Amorim launches New Sustainable Heavy Mass Layer, powered by Shark Solutions' recycled PVB binder

Amorim Cork Composite (ACC), the world leader in the development of new cork composite materials, has launched a sustainable replacement for heavy mass sound dampening sheets using Shark Solutions sustainable PVB compound, perfect for being used in a wide range of industries; Automotive, Marine and Rail, and Household equipment. 

Compared to more traditional heavy mass sound reducing sheets, Amorim Cork Composite’s new developed sheet provides all the same acoustic and damping performances as the more traditional heavy mass layers, but has the benefits of a significant lower carbon footprint and a much lighter density and therefore much less weight (up to less 20% of density).
