Shark Solutions offers a wide range of dispersions optimized for carpet and textile floorcovering applications sold under the names SharkDispersionMW1™, SharkDispersionSX1™, and SharkDispersionWX1™, which can be selected according to the processes and applications of our customers’ needs. For hard flooring applications and carpet backing, we offer SharkPelletC2c™.

SharkDispersions™ offer multiple functionalities for the finishing of carpets and are used for precoat, secondary backing adhesive, needlefelt impregnation, back coating for woven carpets and anti-slip or sound damping treatment.

SharkDispersions™ and SharkPellets™ for floorcovering applications can be used for improving and strengthening tuft lock, durability, dimension stability, resistance of carpets, sound damping, anti-slip and elasticity.

SharkDispersions™ can be applied using various methods such as: lick-roller, foam-table, spray, foulard or by full-bath.  Our experience in collecting the right grades to meet the settings of machinery and applications is well recognized by our customers.

SharkPellets™ can be utilized by various types of processing, such as melt extrusion and can be offered as formulated with filler and at the desired viscosity.

SharkDispersions™ and SharkPellets™ as binders for further processes are compatible with various type of fillers, flame retardants, surfactants, anti-static agents, etc.

SharkDispersions™ and SharkPellets™ are compliant with the standards required by GUT (Gemeinschaft Umweltfreundlicher Teppichboden e.V.) as an environmentally friendly polymer. By using SharkDispersions™ or SharkPellets™ we support our customers to produce their finished products in a more sustainable way.

The Shark Solutions technical team supports our customers with their extensive technical knowledge from our application lab.  We are also able to visit onsite if help is required in addressing technical or production issues.
